Teja Sree PuttaUX/UI & Product Designer

About

Hi, I'm Teja.

UX/UI & Product Designer with an MSc in Computer Science, specialising in Interaction Design, and 3 years designing end-to-end across web and mobile. I work from discovery research and information architecture through to high-fidelity Figma prototypes, developer-ready flows and usability testing.

My story

How I got here

My design journey started in my third year of university in India, when I realised design sat exactly where my two interests met: people and technology. I taught myself Figma, worked through courses on Udemy and Coursera, and got hooked on how much a thoughtful interface can change someone's day.

That curiosity brought me to Gothenburg, where I completed my Master's in Computer Science with a specialisation in Interaction Design at the University of Gothenburg. Since then I've redesigned an enterprise intranet, designed an AI career assistant from zero to dev-ready, built a sustainability app, and wired pressure sensors into a cushion to see what interaction design feels like when it isn't on a screen.

What connects all of it is a stubbornness about clarity. I want to know why a user hesitated, not just that they did, and I'd rather kill a beautiful screen than ship one that makes someone feel stupid.

How I work

Four things I refuse to skip

01

Research first, pixels later

Forty survey responses and six interviews before a single DevPort wireframe. The structure of a product is a research finding, not a style choice.

02

Design the decision, not just the screen

Every screen I hand over comes with the reasoning attached, why this layout, what it de-risks, what we'd test next.

03

Make AI feel explainable

On SwipeJobb, match percentages, live output panels and 'refine' escape hatches all exist for one reason: users trust what they can see working.

04

Hand-off is part of the design

Button logic, transition behaviour and edge-case states, documented. Developers shouldn't have to guess, and they shouldn't have to ask twice.

Experience

Where I've worked

  1. Jun 2026 — Present

    Associate UX/UI Designer

    rNWIST · Sweden · Remote

Sole designer across SwipeJobb's mobile app, the B2B Business Panel and a new fashion-resale ecommerce platform. I lead design reviews, mentor the UX interns, and bridge design with developers and stakeholders.

  2. Jan 2026 — Present

    Freelance UX Consultant

Gravitad Systems · Spain · Remote

Independent UX advisory across multiple client technology projects, evaluating user flows, information architecture, interaction design and accessibility. Each engagement ends in a written report with risk analysis and prioritised recommendations.

  3. Aug 2025 — Jun 2026

    UX/UI Designer Intern

    rNWIST · Sweden · Remote

Rebuilt the SwipeJobb Business Panel, an HR-facing recruiter dashboard, across 12+ screens. Also shaped the AI career assistant's conversational patterns, onboarding and trust-building cues.

  4. Jan 2025 — Aug 2025

    UX/UI Designer — Master's Thesis

    DevPort AB · Gothenburg, Sweden · On-site

Led an end-to-end redesign of a workflow-heavy internal tool used daily across departments, researching with 40 employees. Restructured the information architecture to balance power-user efficiency against clarity for less technical staff.

  5. Jan 2025 — Mar 2025

Teaching Assistant — Agile Development Practices

Chalmers University of Technology · Gothenburg, Sweden

Guided student teams through Agile sprints, backlog grooming and retrospectives, evaluating deliverables and giving design feedback across multiple sprints.

  6. Sep 2022 — Jul 2023

    UX/UI Designer Intern

Crafter · Hyderabad, India · Remote

Designed the full UI for a learning platform, using user research and competitive analysis to define its information architecture and visual system, alongside pitch-ready materials communicating design rationale to stakeholders.
